🎉 Celebration & Update! 🎉
Congratulations! We have officially reached 269 signatures on our petition. That means we’ve hit 10% of the 34% of voters who participated in the last election—an incredible milestone and a powerful show of community support.
Our next goal is to reach 10% of all registered voters in the City of St. Albans. Our final target is 737 signatures, or as close as we can get. You all have been amazing, helping us get ahead on this petition and showing that our community is ready for positive change.
As we continue meeting with council members and working to get on the ordinance committee docket, we’ve also decided to meet with the zoning committee to gather additional information and ensure we’re addressing all concerns responsibly. We are committed to keeping everyone informed as we move forward.
Please continue to spread the word, sign, and share. Let’s show the council, zoning board, and city commission that this is what our community wants. Together, we can educate our neighbors, promote responsible chicken ownership, and build a stronger urban agriculture system so St. Albans can grow and thrive. 🐔🌱
