Promote Tax-free Purchases & Incentivize Level 3 Superchargers For E-Vehicles in the PH
The Issue
The citizens and the owners of Electrical Vehicles (EV) will benefit from this because by advocating EVs, we can help in preventing the effects of climate change. EVs can also help in lessening sickness in the citizens because it does not combust fuels. It also helps in lessening the negative effects of climate change and by providing incentives for EVs, the citizens can help in lessening these effects. The EV owners will be able to use it for traveling to far places because of the implementation of level 3 chargers all over the country.
Electric Vehicles (EVs) are vehicles that do not combust fuels, meaning a lesser carbon footprint. Governments should encourage the public to adopt the new technologies which may slow down and even reverse the effects of climate change, especially in the Philippines. Incentives such as tax-free purchases or discounted prices may be appealing to consumers which will promote the widespread adoption of these vehicles. Moreover, electric vehicle companies have difficulties in penetrating the Philippine market due to the poor infrastructure pertaining to the fast-charging of electric vehicles. The widespread adoption of these vehicles also require the widespread adoption of level 3 chargers which further enhance the availability, efficiency, and usability of these vehicles.
Continuous environmentally harmful human activities, such as deforestation and the burning of fossil fuels, have aggravated the effects of climate change over the years. The effects of climate change are becoming more apparent in our surroundings, resulting in decreased water supply and crop production, as well as more frequent and severe occurrences of droughts, storms, heat waves, and altered rainfall patterns that lead to more frequent flooding. Additionally, climate change has negative health consequences, such as a rise in heat-related deaths, an increase in disaster-related accidents, changes in disease patterns, and a decline in air and water quality, which can contribute to the spread of illnesses and infections. It is crucial for all age groups to work together to combat climate change and its effects.
