Promote Racial Equality and Fair Treatment in Education

Every student deserves to be treated fairly and with respect, no matter their race or background.

Many students still face unfair treatment in schools through unequal discipline, fewer opportunities, and lessons that do not reflect all communities. This affects their learning, confidence, and future.

We are calling on our schools and district leaders to:

1. Ensure fair and equal treatment for all students in discipline, grading, and school opportunities.
2. Provide training for teachers and staff on cultural awareness and fair treatment.
3. Support an inclusive curriculum that represents diverse histories and cultures.
4. Create a safe way for students and families to report concerns about unfair treatment.
