Promote Christian Marxism for a More Biblical Society

The Issue

I have begun this petition driven by personal conviction and deep concern about the exploitation and greed that currently accompany capitalism. This is not merely a socio-political issue, it penetrates into the spiritual realm, non-biblical and contrary to the teachings we hold dear.

I firmly believe Christian Marxism is a more biblical approach to societal organization and economy. This belief is rooted in the Bible itself. Acts 4:34-35 describes the early Christian community where believers shared possessions, so that "there were no needy persons amongst them". Economic equality was an integral part of this biblical community.

In a society marred by capitalist greed, such time-honored tenets are diminished. According to the Federal Reserve Bank, the wealthiest 1% of Americans own 31% of the country's wealth. Yet, nearly 40 million Americans live in poverty—a statistic that grows increasingly concerning (Sources: Federal Reserve Bank, U.S Census Bureau).

By turning toward Christian Marxism, we embrace a more equitable way of living, reflective of biblical teachings of compassion, sharing, and community. Let's promote a society that mirrors the early Christian community, steadfast in support of each other's material needs as well as spiritual growth.

Stand with me. Let's voice our advocacy for Christian Marxism. Sign this petition and show your support for a more biblical society.
