The piercing noise that accompanies firework displays is not essential for us to enjoy their beauty, yet it causes immense distress to our pets, wildlife and humans!

Usually my dog is very relaxed and fast asleep by my side.  After an exceptionally loud firework that even shook my house, she is petrified, wide awake and hiding in the corner.

I am not against fireworks - I think they create beautiful and stunning displays that  bring joy but there is no need for the bang that accompanies them!

Please sign this petition urging lawmakers to ban loud fireworks and protect our beloved animals from unnecessary anxiety.
