I am personally affected by the use of glue traps, a cruel and inhumane method used to catch what is often referred to as "pests". These traps do not discriminate between species, ensnaring mice, rats, birds, reptiles and even our beloved domestic pets. The suffering these creatures endure is unimaginable as they struggle in vain to free themselves from the adhesive.

Moreover, these traps pose a significant risk to children. Many glue traps contain poison within their adhesive substance which can be harmful if accidentally ingested or touched by curious little hands.

According to Humane Society International (HSI), there are numerous humane alternatives available for pest control that do not involve causing such distress or potential harm. Furthermore, HSI states that glue traps are considered one of the cruelest methods of rodent control due to prolonged suffering caused.

It's time we took a stand against this barbaric practice and advocated for more humane methods of pest control.
