Prolonged use can lead to a long-term physical and psychological impact on dogs.

In recent years, many positive reinforcement training methods have emerged that are proven to be effective and humane. We don't need to resort to archaic methods that cause harm to teach our pets.

While the use of such devices is demonstrative of our negligence, it also says a lot about our morality. It's not just about a simple tool, but about the fundamental values we represent as a society. Respect for life and refusal of animal cruelty should stand above all else.
