Every year, over millions of animals suffer and die in painful tests to determine the safety of cosmetics and other products. According to Cruelty Free International, over 115 million animals are being used for animal testing worldwide each year. This includes rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and mice suffering in experiments that cause them distress or death. We believe it's time for a change.

We are calling on our government to ban the use and importation of animal-tested products within our borders. By doing this we can take a stand against animal cruelty, promote alternatives to animal testing that are more reliable and less costly, such as in vitro methods or computer models.

Our consumer choices have power - by choosing not to support companies that use animal testing we can make a difference. But we need legislation to enforce this on a larger scale.
