Petition to ban the private use of fireworks in Brampton Ontario 

The current firework by-laws in Brampton are not being followed and respected by the community. 

In result the citizens have been exposed to severe noise disturbances until late hours of the morning, leaving them without sleep, causing anxiety and stress. This also affects those with various health conditions such as Autism, PTSD, including those with breathing issues. The intense simultaneous launching of fireworks also causes poor air quality and pollution, aggravating the health conditions of those with breathing issues. 

In addition we are concerned about our safety and potential property damage as the by-law not to use fireworks that extend more then 10 feet is not being respected by the majority of people, safety rules are not followed as well as launching from public side walks is common.

Please sign this petition if you believe that the personal use of fireworks on private property should be banned in the city of Brampton.
