My family and I, along with many others, have experienced numerous close calls with vehicles, when trying to access the school. The current predicament has allowed for utter chaos to erupt during morning and afternoon school runs, threatening the safety of our children.

Statistics show that in areas involving school zones with heavy unregulated parking, the risk of pedestrian accidents increases dramatically, especially those involving school-aged children (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration).
