Statistics show that a significant increase in lost pets occurs during or after firework events.

Moreover, considering Boca Raton's significant retired veteran population, it is necessary to consider the impact of fireworks on PTSD symptoms. Therefore, this petition seeks to ban the use of fireworks in our residential neighborhoods. The health and tranquility of our community members, both humans and pets, are at stake. We need to ensure our neighborhoods remain a comfortable and safe living space for everyone.
