In two articles published by the cbcpnews.com, Dr. Eleanor de Borja-Palabyab reportedly gave a lecture to a community in Brgy Tiris, Gubat, Sorsogon. She was quoted giving out information contrary to the information given by credible health institutions and specialty societies.

She claimed that aborted fetuses are being used to make vaccines and thus she discourages immunization. She even claimed that vaccines contain harmful substances to the brain and body and causes autism. An outdated belief that has been rejected by vast majority of doctors.

Prominent Physician exposes truth behind contraceptives

The most dangerous claim she has among contraceptives is the claim that condoms have holes which permit HIV to pass through, making it useless. This, of course, is absolutely false. 

Different health authorities like the WHO, CDC, DOH and the different specialty societies have continuously affirmed the effectiveness, need and safety of contraceptives and vaccines.

We believe that CORRECT information about very important life saving medical interventions should always be given to the public. 

We urge the PRC and POGS to take action on the matter.
