Examinations are important. However, in times like these, they are not the most important thing. We don’t agree with the university’s decision of taking the examinations. Students are enrolled in Courses and Internships for the month of June and above all we are scared. Witnessing the spread of the Novel COVID-19 and all it’s fatalities has left us terrified. The cases are rising by the day and it’s not acceptable that the university circulates the date sheet in between this time. The assignments and vivas have been completed by the students on time for the faculty’s convenience and the students have tried their best to attend the online classes.

University isn’t taking the overall impact of the COVID situation on the students into consideration. Some have lost someone affected by the coronavirus, some are themselves affected by the coronavirus locked in a COVID centre and almost everyone is traumatised with what’s going around. Preparing for the exams in this time is a very big deal which isn’t considered by the university.

This petition will signed by students who are not willing to appear for examinations midst the COVID-19 spread. The petition will also be signed by the parents who understand the facts, unlike the university, and are unwilling to send their children for appearing in the examination.
