Olay is one of the biggest cosmetics brands out there, selling amazing products ranging from skin creams to shampoo. You've probably seen Olay products everywhere, maybe even bought some. Olay is owned by the major company Procter and Gamble. 

Olay is also a company that tests its products on animals. Animal testing is something that unfortunately occurs commonly within many cosmetics, however, as Olay is one of the largest cosmetic brands in the world, it definitely has a much bigger influence than some other brands out there. This is why I am specifically targeting this petition towards Olay. 

Testing is often a very painful process for the animals. Products can burn or irritate their skin, and with other forms of testing, even worse. As well as this, it's just a very scary and traumatizing experience for the animals in general, being locked all alone in cages and having experiments conducted on them. Over 100 million animals per year are said to be killed during testing in the USA alone. 

If Olay was to stop testing on animals, it would be a huge step. Not only might it inspire other cosmetic brands to stop animal testing, but it would also save so many animals from being tested on in the future.

So this petition is directed towards Procter and Gamble, to challenge them to stop animal testing for all of Olay's products. Although they have taken a big step towards eliminating their animal testing in the last few years, they are still testing on animals for certain products sold in places like China. This is very important to me and I appreciate everyone and anyone's support.
