Procter and Gamble is complicit in the Uyghur Genocide by sponsoring the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. They have been informed of this, and continue to remain silent. Not only is Procter and Gamble contributing to the fanfare of the games, but Procter and Gamble is assisting the CCP in the glorification of their regime, and subsequent denial of their horrific actions.

As the eyes of the world turn to China for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) hopes to showcase their power on a global stage. While the  significance of the Olympic Games puts Beijing in the spotlight, as many as one and a half million to three million Uyghur people are being held in concentration camps in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region in Northwestern China. 

Procter and Gamble has a responsibility to the public to do better and should commit to taking a stand against the continuing genocide by: 

1. Acknowledging the ongoing Uyghur Genocide in China 
2. Pull their sponsorship from the 2022 Olympic Games.

Progressive ad campaigns such as the "Like a Girl" campaign ad won’t make up for the atrocities Uyghurs will face if Procter and Gamble remains silent. It is essential that Procter and Gamble prove its commitment to human rights is more important than its commitment to profits.
