I am a new mom of a beautiful baby girl. Ever since she was born we were very excited to try out a lot of our delicious smelling baby lotions and shampoos for her. Fast forward two to three months she began to have horrible skin rashes that wouldn’t go away for weeks at a time. We would go to the doctors office each time to have her evaluated and to get recommendations for new lotions and topical creams.They would always ask us what detergent we would use and would so proudly tell them Dreft. They would agree with my choice telling me that Dreft was the best baby detergent for all babies, very light fragrance and light for their sensitive skin. Before my daughter was born I was able to stock up on a few bottles of the original scented Dreft. After running out I ran to store hoping to restock only to find they had changed the original formula with a stronger almost floral smell. One day I went to about ten different stores hoping to find the original scent. I decide to look on Amazon hoping they would have the original scent and only found a lot of bad reviews of this new not so improved scent. I read many reviews about moms with the same problem. Many moms and non moms looking for the original scent to simply wash their own clothes or their children's clothing. As a mom its tough when your babies aren't feeling great through fevers,teething,and troubled little bellies, it’s hard trying to figure out what new detergents to use for babies with sensitive that won’t result in horrible flare ups. I hope that I’m not the only mom going through this and if you are one of those moms also disappointed in the makers of Dreft, hope that you will sign this petition to change Dreft to its original and rightful scent.
