we find it very difficult to comprehend how anyone can find our parades so wrong as we are only celebrating our heritage and promoting our culture upon the streets where we live. We are very proud to be British and see no shame in outwardly showing that pride after all there are many far more dangerous than ours and they don't receive a quarter of the intimidation and hate that we do. We have started this petition because we want to continue our proud history of parading in and around Glasgow, elsewhere in Scotland and obviously further afield in the United Kingdom as our parades are family friendly everyone is welcome and we aim to involve the future generations where and when we can also our parades bring in thousands of tourists to the area and they spend money at local shops local stores and visit the local public houses afterwards so the money that is generated can only be good for the economy of Glasgow. Orange parades do not breed hate nor are they festivals of Racism and bigotry as some have previously and wrongly said surely as we are as British as the next person we should be free to walk the highways without fear of abuse intimidation and ultimately violence from those persons that disagree with what we are and what we do. Glasgow is a wonderful city and we love being a part of the rich history that the city enjoys we find it upsetting that certain factions want to stop us though it is rather ironic that they proclaim to be speaking up against fascists and bigotry but are acting in a manner exactly like the fascists they hate. Please sign this petition and tell all your family and friends please help us save the proud Orange history we have and help secure the Orange parades in Glasgow for many a year to come. We respect others why can't they respect us?
