Four weeks ago the 39 bus that ran from Brackenwood through Moortown, Meanwood, Headingley, Kirkstall, Armley and stoped at the White Rose Centre, was discontinued. 

Lots of local residents relied on this service, especially to get from Meanwood to either Headingley and Kirkstall. 

This is yet another local services that has been chopped by the privately ran bus companies. 

West Yorkshire Combined Authority put this route out to competitive tender, but as of yet, no bus companies have picked up the route. 

We want the bus companies to know that this route was important to our community and that we would like it back.
