*Osime Brown will be released from prison after mass pressure, but his fight continues*
As announced this morning, Osime Brown will return to his family home on his release from prison this week on Wednesday, rather than being taken to an immigration detention centre. This follows huge pressure which has seen MPs and over 100,000 people in the UK demand his freedom. This is a massive victory, and shows that the campaign to gain his complete freedom is winning.
*But Osime's fight is still on:* his deportation order *still stands*. Although no date for this has yet been announced, Osime still has this threat looming. Urgently - we need to continue demanding freedom for Osime. Osime's campaign are asking you to do the following:
- *Join the TwitterStorm*, Tuesday 6th Oct, 6-8pm: #FreeOsimeBrown #StopTheDeportation
- * Watch the Channel 4 news at 7pm tomorrow to see the petition being handed in to the Home Office.
- *Keep signing and sharing* his petition: bit.ly/osime-b
- *Write to your MP* and urgently support the call from Joan Martin, Osime's Mother, for an immediate public enquiry into Osime's case.
We are calling on all our supporters to do these urgent actions now to support Osime, stop his deportation and save his life.
