Prioritize your health: Sleep Smarter, Achieve Greater

The Issue

Sleep is essential for our overall health and academic performance. Poor sleep can lead not only to decreased academic performance but also various health issues like obesity, depression, or even heart disease later in life according to Harvard Medical School's Division of Sleep Medicine.

We, the Grade 11 Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM) students of Speaker Eugenio Perez National Agricultural School (SEPNAS), are calling for the implementation of comprehensive sleep hygiene education. This initiative aims to educate students, parents, and teachers about the importance of good sleep habits to prevent sleep deficiency. The program will include practical tips such as avoiding caffeine close to bedtime, reducing exposure to screens before bed, and creating a comfortable sleeping environment. By implementing this program we aim not just for improved grades but better health outcomes for all students involved.
