We hear time and time again from registrants waiting for their investigation to conclude so they can know once and for all if the case is going to progress to hearing or close. This uncertainty is impossible to live with as their jobs and lives are put on hold indefinitely.

One of the standard responses from NMC is "we are waiting for witness to engage" and this goes on and on - it feels to the registrants that everyone is waiting when the registrant knows the witness is not reliable but no one is brave to draw a line.

Who draws the line for the registrant?

Who says enough is enough - there has been enough time passed now?

No one - the case continues as the NMC legal teams are convinced they are right and just need more time
