Ishbel Straker has experienced, like many on NMCWatch and extremely protracted investigation with the NMCWatch. There seems no end date - with after 6 years of waiting being told it is unlikely to reach hearing until at least December 2026.

Subject to an interim suspension order this means at reviews every 6months she hopes for better and faces disappointment when the order continues.

Why is it so many themes and no one is investigating the key issues that the NMC is at best lacking understanding of or at worst choosing to ignore?

Many will console themselves that they will never get their career back no matter what the final outcome is.
