North Sunnyvale is at risk of losing its limited grocery options. This isn’t just inconvenient, it’s a growing public health concern. Without affordable, fresh food nearby, families are cut off from a basic need. Seniors, kids, and anyone without a car are hit hardest.
Food deserts are tied to higher rates of chronic illness, especially for the most vulnerable. And let’s be honest, North Sunnyvale has already faced years of underinvestment. This would only widen the gap.
What started with a few concerned residents is now a growing movement. We’ve gathered more than 670 signatures, and we’re not stopping! Every name added, every conversation sparked, every person who says “this isn’t right” is helping build something stronger.
Our next goal is 1,000 signatures, a number we believe city and state leaders can’t ignore.
If you haven’t signed yet, now’s the time. If you have, please ask three people you know to sign. It takes less than a minute, and it matters!
North Sunnyvale deserves better. And with your help, we’ll make sure it’s heard!
Thank you for standing with us,
North Sunnyvale Community
