We’ve passed 250 signatures—and support keeps growing!

Across North Sunnyvale, neighbors are stepping up. In Lakewood, SNAIL, and San Miguel, people are talking with each other, sharing the petition, and posting flyers in shop windows. Conversations are happening on porches and sidewalks. This is what a real community effort looks like!

We’re speaking up because this isn’t just about a store. It’s about the mother who walks to get groceries. The older neighbor who depends on a familiar place. The families whose daily routines rely on access to essentials close to home.

We may live in different homes, speak different languages, and have different stories, but we’re united by something deeper: the belief that everyone deserves reliable access to the basics: food, essential neighborhood services, and the things that make daily life possible.

What’s next?

We’re at 267 and building momentum! Our next milestone is 500, but we know the more voices behind this, the stronger the message. If each of us shares this with just one or two more people, we’ll get there fast, and keep going!

Every new signature shows growing support for protecting access to essential services in our neighborhoods.

Here’s how you can help:

• Share the petition on social media

• Text or email it to a few friends or neighbors

• Post a flyer at a shop, school, library, or community board

This isn’t just a petition. It’s all of us, standing together for our neighborhoods.
