Animals have a voice and they deserve respect and protection. However, in many parts of the world, they are overbred to the extent that it impacts their well-being in the wild. Many people do this as well as other forms of exploitation but don't see its impact on individual animals. Overbreeding not only threatens the health and well-being of animals but also contributes to overpopulation issues, leading to abandoned or homeless animals. According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year due to abandonment or overpopulation.It doesn't have to be this way. 

In Aurora, IL, we have an opportunity to set an example for communities around the world by prioritizing animal rights through creating organizations and starting from just one community. By you advocating for stricter animal rights on breeding practices and promoting responsible pet ownership you allow yourself to be a role model for others.
