At Tomlin Middle School in Plant City Florida, young women are so sexualized to the point we have a dress code. in this dress code we can only wear black,white, orange, and grey. our straps have to be bigger than three fingers and cannot show our midriff. our pants cannot have rips, and have to be 2 inches from our knees (same with skirts/dresses). our clothes have to be plain with no screen print or any writing. This disgusting, not only to the young women at our school, but everywhere. we are THIRTEEN, TWELVE, AND ELEVEN. WHY ARE YOU SEXUALIZING OUR BODIES!!! Help make a change and sign out petition to stop this over sexualization of young girls bodys.
