Bring food trucks back to Princeton

Bring food trucks back to Princeton
Why this petition matters

Princeton, NC has recently put out a newsletter on why they are now regulating food trucks in the town of Princeton. In the statement they express that there was mass miscommunication throughout their staff about when and where these food trucks will be coming to town. They also recently told a small business owner who was already willing to pay the upfront sponsorship fees that the town of Princeton was not willing to shell out themselves that he can longer host these food trucks on his property.
Minus all the brass tax about zoning regulations and local ordinance, why are we stopping food trucks from coming to our extremely small town? During this time of uncertainty and quarantine, we are limited in how we can travel and what we can eat on a day to day basis. The town of Princeton is limited to 6 options. If the citizens are willing to upfront the sponsorship fees to have something new and exciting come into our small town to bring people whom wouldn't have otherwise come here, why are we making these business's jump through hoops?
You would think with all this being said these food trucks have parked for days to weeks at a time, but no folks, these business's at most have graced our presence twice in a month. These food choices are polar opposites of anything we have to offer in this town meaning we are not bringing in competition from out of town.
March 1st the town of Princeton will be holding a hearing, I would like to submit this petition to prove to them that we may be small but are voices speak volumes. If you cannot make it to this hearing please sign and share for the cause.
