Sri Lanka is facing financial Crisis. Sri Lanka recorded budget Deficit of 7.4% of its GDP. Recently Government increased the VAT to 15%. Vehicle Taxes Increased by more than LKR 3Mn on 1500 cc vehicles. National air lines recorded LKR 107 billion loss. Also SL is seeking USD 1.5 Bn loan from IMF. Beyond all recently National Cancer Hospital required a PET scanner worth 200Mn and the funds were requested from public. Admist all these negative conditions, spending LKR 1.1 Bn on vehicle Purchase is not advisable and it further increases the financial burden on the citizens. Stop this till Sri Lanka financially become Stable.
