Netting has been erected in the undercover car park at Edgeworth shopping centre to stop the swallows from nesting and depositing waste on cars! 
This  netting has been proven to trap the birds and they are dying because they can’t get out and they are suffering and dying because they are distressed. Of a night the birds no longer have anywhere to perch and are sitting on the cold concrete ground. It’s very unfair that human intervention continues to destroy our native and protected wildlife and or species! 
I and many others would like the netting removed so these birds can continue to thrive in an undercover area out of our harsh climate. 
I suggest customers that don’t want bird waste deposited on their vehicle or you have the potential to slip over on Swallow waste park your car above ground and look where you are walking! To those people who have complained or potentially slipped in Swallow waste you have now put hundreds of our protected birds without a home! Only the centre manager can have this netting removed.
