Traffic jams due to VIP convoys is a common incident we observe in our daily lives. It result into frustration, loss of time and sometimes loss of life. It has happened many times that a patient is not able to get medical attention he/she deserves as there was a VIP movement that did not let ambulance move in traffic. As reported by media, a youth was hit by bus and in spite of his critical condition, he was literally dumped on the pavement as CM convoy was passing by. The treatment was significantly delayed and there was further delay in hospital. Ultimately, the youth lost his life, as it happens. Do we want to keep quiet and wait for more such incidents?

I am requesting Prime Minister Office and Government of Madhya Pradesh to take stern action to avoid such incidents and issue guidelines for vehicle movement of politicians and bureaucrats. Also, make Police accountable for such incidents.
