Prime Minister Tony Abbott: Overturn the Proposal by the ACT government to redefine marriage.

The issue

This marriage redefinition legislation by the ACT government:
1. Goes against the constitution of Australia and the marriage Act 2004 and should be overturned because it is deliberately testing the authority of Australian's governmental structure.
2. Seeks to pass legislation subversively contrary to the will of the Australian people.
3. Seeks to change the fundamental construct of marriage hence opening the door for changes to many other laws that will effect many aspects of Australian society and (in particular) the education and psychosexual development of Australian children.
