Honorable Prime Minister, 

We, the undersigned, encompass some of the leading businesses within the SME sphere, and all of us play a vital role in the economy by leading forwarding-thinking enterprises and employing substantial numbers of workers. 

At this stage in the on-going COVID19 crisis, we implore the Government to provide us with much-needed security, so that we can reassure our workers about the safety of their jobs while our businesses have been forcibly closed. With this in mind, we ask the Government to provide a monthly salary to all employed workers, amounting to at least Minimum Wage. This monthly bursary would give our employees the much-needed stability they require to be able to focus on their well-being during this crisis, while alleviating the serious stress and unsustainable operating costs associated with maintaining their salaries while our operations have ceased.
