Indian Armed Forces members have been suffering continuous,  unabated systemic erosion  of their status, protocol, pay and allowances vis-a- vis other Central Govt employees since independence. If this is not reversed soon, the Nation will eventually pay a heavy price as bright and capable youngsters would not like to be part of an organisation whose  officers are treated as second-grade Govt employees. Please reverse this degradation of military ranks and restore their pride and dignity to enable them to stay motivated and be prepared to give their lives, if required,  for the Nation's cause.
