When the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the South Reclamation Scheme was first displayed in 2017, the Penang fishermen fiercely stood their ground, and because of that the EIA was rejected. Now the EIA is on display for the second time in April-May 2019. Our fishermen are defending their livelihoods and our environment. They deserve our support!

This film was made in 2017 to highlight the plight of the fishermen of Penang island. It has interviews with the fishermen of Tanjung Tokong affected by the northern reclamation of Sri Tanjung Pinang 2 (STP2). Then it shows the "Fishermen's Paradise" in the south of Penang Island, where fishermen are facing the prospects of losing their livelihoods due to the proposed Penang South Reclamation scheme (PSR).
