Malaysia has an opportunity to make great strides forward in the fight against animal cruelty. Establishing laws regarding such actions ensures a decrease in violence that is extremely important. Please support legislation to criminalize animal cruelty and contribute to a culture that does not accept violence.

I believe the specifics set forth in this initiative will prove most beneficial to society at large. A law that applies to all citizens, including those in a position of power, will ensure fairness and equal treatment.

Current progress made to eliminate animal cruelty will have a lasting impact. It is important to establish these laws now, so as to ensure a significant decline in the future. A hefty fine for animal cruelty will decrease repeat offenders and force citizens to think before they act. Those still compelled to commit acts of abuse toward animals will experience proper punishment that will keep them away from any future victims.

Please criminalize animal cruelty immediately and vow to properly punish those in the wrong while protecting innocent animals from harm. Properly punish those found guilty of animal abuse. Thank you
