Statistically speaking, 9 people die everyday on the tracks of Mumbai. Under this scenario the funding used for the not needed Mumbai- Ahmedabad Bullet train should be invested in improving the conditions of Mumbai Local Trains. And it’s not development if it’s not beneficial to the majority population.
This could be done by adding railway tracks, extending the footover bridges, adding coaches to the train.
If a normal individual can pool in such mediocre ideas, the railway department can definitely find better ways to improvisation.
It’s not that changes haven’t been made, but evidently they aren’t sufficient to the present population.
Hence, please sign the petition so that the government takes necessary changes.
