Many petitions have been signed to stop reservation system in India. But, we all know that government will not do that.

I'm not against caste reservation system in India, but I'm against caste reservation system in the cities. Everywhere it is written that this is for SC/ST, people who cannot study because of their financial problems or because they belong to backward communities. But, people living in cities are not the same. Those who are living in cities may not be financially poor. If you see most of the students are from middle class background, they can belong to General, OBC, SC, ST, etc. Yet they avail the advantages of reservation.

We know that India is a developing country and we can't produce Geniuses for the world. Every Indian feels proud when someone says that most of the employees at NASA are Indian. But, they don't feel proud when someone says that he is a Doctor and is unable to cure simple diseases. Why is this happening? Due to caste reservation and corruption.

A talented person does not get admission because seats are reserved even if he scores more marks. If we want our Country to develop faster than it is, then we have to stop this and focus on education rather than reservation /fees.

You want reservation then take it but big colleges and universities should stop dividing the seats based on caste reservation system. Give reservations to colleges where it is required & not everywhere.

I belong to Mumbai and if anyone visits Mumbai they would say that reservation is not required in this developed city.

Government wants backward students to get good education then provide them from the beginning since their childhood. Not when they grow up, and are in their 20s and think to get education. Because if someone is crazy about being educated then they'll never complain to the government or to anyone for not getting education because in this era we see schools almost everywhere. Everyone knows that Government gave jobs to teachers to teach in rural areas with handsome salaries but they don't teach properly because they are also people who get raised due to reservations not by their knowledge. EVERYONE SAYS THAT INDIA IS HAVING CRISIS IN JOBS BUT THEY DON'T SEE THAT MOST OF THE PEOPLE HAVING JOBS ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOB. (Since 2000, the World Bank has committed over $2 billion to education in India. Some of the reasons for the poor quality include absence of around 25% of teachers every day.

As of March 2012, there were 2,127,000 secondary school teachers in India.

If we want to make India better then give them mentors not reservations.
