A Brutal Rape and Murder Case shook India on December 26 2007 when Ayesha Meera,A pharmacy student of Vijaywada based Nimra College was mercilessly hacked to death after getting raped.Her legs were split wide open with one leg tied to a bathroom tap, such was the graveness of crime.It was well known that this act was just not limited to this crime but it would open up the pandora box of criminal activities in which many political bigwigs might be involved.After many eye wash arrests of few youth,one Youth named Satyam Babu was booked for the crime only to be released after 8 years by the AP High Court stating he is the wrong person booked and rewarding 1 lakh compensation for destroying his 8 years of valuable life. Also the case was closed on the grounds of lack of strong evidence.The current regime in AP which was in the opposition during the time of the crime ,had promised to bring the culprits to book if it came to power but till date not a single step taken towards that Direction. Does'nt the Daughter of India deserves justice against her monsters? Does fixing innocent youth on false charges,save the real culprits?We appeal to provide heavy compensation to the Youth who was booked on false case and lost his valuable 8 years. We appeal to Immediately reopen the case of AP's Nirbhaya and fast track the investigation and bring the real culprits involved in the heinous crime to book at the earliest.We demand stringent punishment for the real culprits.This shall instill a sense of contentment among the public of India that the Justice prevailed.
