GOVERNMENT MUST INVESTIGATE THE REAL INTENTIONS OF THE “INTELLECTUALS” ON THE “RISING INTOLERANCE” ISSUE

 

For the past few months, certain vested interests are raising the manufactured issue of “Rising Intolerance” in the country. Those raising this issue are so called “Intellectuals” including some Writers, Filmmakers, Social activists and Historians. After the independence, for the first time in the Country, BJP has been able to form the Government with absolute majority. The Government is running successfully for the last 18 months.

 For a common man in the country, the bigger question is as to why  these so called “intellectuals” are raising this issue now and   never raised this issue  , when Emergency was imposed in the country and human rights were grossly violated. These “intellectuals” remained silent during 1984 anti-Sikh riots. No intellectual ever raised an issue when the scams worth thousands of crores of public money were being unearthed during the previous regimes. Fortunately, all these unfortunate incidents are not happening under the current Government. The discomfort of these so called “Intellectuals” can be easily judged from the following events/achievements   happened   during the past 18 months :

1.       Government at the Centre is not involved in any scams. This is a deviation from the past, when scams of thousands of crores were coming to the light on regular basis.

2.       Those elements who have “looted” the country during the last 60 years of the misrule, are fearing that they will be “exposed” sooner or later.

3.       Media, which was a mute spectator of the wrong doings of the previous Governments, is also fearing that it will also be “exposed.”

4.       Terrorists are either not allowed to enter the country from the Pakistan Border or from any other route. If they succeed to enter somehow, they are either captured or killed. This is a great setback for some “intellectuals” , having soft corner for the terrorists.

5.       No Terrorist attack has happened anywhere in the country during the last 18 months. This is also  a great setback for some “intellectuals” having soft corner for the terrorists.

6.       Terrorist Yakub Memon was hanged to death despite stiff opposition from these so called intellectuals, who have petitioned even President of India to save this Terrorist. These “intellectuals” could not get any relief and the Terrorist Yakub Memon was ultimately hanged.

7.       Journalists are not allowed to Travel Free of Cost with PM Modi on his foreign visits, as was the practice before this Government came to power.

8.       NGOs running in the country in the illegal manner, have been asked to close their business. Most of these NGOs were/are running with the active support of these “intellectuals” or their friends and associates, who are raising the issue of “Intolerance”.

9.       PM Modi has been able to enhance the reputation and image of the country across the world community, which is unprecedented.

10.   The Government ,for the first time, is focusing on the agenda of “Development”, leaving aside the corruption, communalism and caste based petty politics.

It is clear from the above, that this “Rising Intolerance” issue is a manufactured product created by the so called “intellectuals”. These intellectuals were getting full support of the previous Governments, who is now in opposition. During the previous regimes, these intellectuals were getting the full support as they were getting Cash, Awards and Positions in various Institutions. Now suddenly, everything is stopped and they are disappointed and in their extreme frustration, they are raising the issue of “Rising Intolerance”, to defame and discredit the present Government.

The Government, must, therefore, investigate the real intention of these self-declared “intellectuals” on this “Rising Intolerance” issue to find out whether this issue is being sponsored by the frustrated opposition or by some anti-national forces sitting outside India.
