Our country became an Independent Nation on August 15, 1947. The country implemented its constitution in the year 1950. But, the name of our country is still being followed, as it was given by the Britishers. Even after 68 years of Independence, our country is not known by its own official name  i.e. Bharat. After independence, we have restored names of many places with their original ones like Bombay to Mumbai, Calcutta to Kolkata, Orisa  to Odisha. But, when we think about our identity in the global scenario, we are still carrying the name given by the Britishers. As an Indian, I personally feel, our country should be known as BHARAT & not as India. So as to feel the proud on our country & its Name.
