Aruba Birdlife Conservation had set the objective to collect 5.000 signatures in support of our petition to stop the ongoing and planned destruction of important nature areas in Aruba. We are very happy to announce that after having launched this campaign on Saturday, September 3, 2016, that today, September 6, 2016, at 4:52 PM (Aruba time), we have already reached our set goal and have collected 5.000 signatures. And while you are reading this more people are signing up… This has all happened so fast that many have not gotten a chance to support our cause yet, among which - those who would like to do so in writing - our timeshare holders and repeat tourists - international nature organizations - and so on… This 5.000 signature goal is a very important one and we would like to thank everyone who has reached out to help stop destruction of nature in Aruba. We thank you all for your support and for your love for Aruba’s nature. You are helping to make a difference! However, we also kindly ask you to please continue to help us collect signatures in support of this petition, so that those who would still like to show their support for our cause will able to do so.
