Around 90 elephants are being used at Amer Fort in Jaipur for rides. This has to end!

These gentle giants are suffering from decades of service - walking on concrete streets carrying tourists. Latest report from the Union Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change  has found that many of these poor elephants are suffering from chronic health conditions - eye problems and various foot ailments. Some were even diagnosed with TB!

These beautiful elephants need to be retired and their owners trained and offered alternate opportunities of employment.

We respectfully urge:

1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi & Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot to take immediate action to stop this cruel practice.

2. Chief Warden of Rajasthan Forests Mohan Lal Meena to rescue ailing elephants from Amer Fort & move them to veterinary hospitals for treatment or contact NGOs Wildlife SOS to provide immediate assistance.
