Given the hateful, fear-mongering nature of the recent executive order of President Trump, banning Muslims from seven countries from entering the US, we urge you to stop any plans for a visit to Canada by the president until this order is repealed. Such a visit would legitimize this shameful and deplorable action that is so deeply counter to the inclusive and compassionate values shared by so many Canadians.
