Four girls under 16 were ripped from their mother's arms and bundled onto an aeroplane for Italy, where they father waited for them, gloating over his victory through our laws. The girls were traumatised, physically hurt, and did not even have personal items with them, such as contact lenses, no clean underwear, no clothes except the skimpy clothes they were wearing. The girls were not allowed to have a voice in court because the judge said "They were influenced by their mother."
The girls had been in Australia for 2 years after they came for a holiday and didn't return to Italy. The big question for everyone is, "Why did the girls not return?" They are not allowed their opinion because they are under 16, and the father made sure this happened before that age came about. These are children without a voice and they are all females, including their distraught mother, grandmother and grand-aunt. Everyone has suffered greatly in this, including the women of Australia, who must question our chances in a 'Family' court that appears gender biased.
Let the girls have their say. In one year one will be completely able to make a decision, as if for 15 years nothing goes through a person's head. It is madness, barbarism, injustice, and it has to stop. Give the girls a fair go and let them tell the courts where they want to live, and more important, why?
