Tewoldros Kassahun, a.k.a Teddy Afro is an Ethiopian Artist known all around the world through his musical works touching many lives. His recent Album, named after our county, Ethiopia topped World Album Chart of Billboard.
He's been credited in voicing societal concerns depicted in his musical poets which glorify Ethiopian past Kings, current Athletes and other heroes from other fields.
In recent years, his plan of performing to his local fans have been impeded by local authorities for reasons best known to the impeders. His concert plans are not immune from last minute cancellation from the authorities who should only be informed of any major events according to FDRE Constitution.
As fan of this icon and devout believer in the rule of law, I, the signatory of this petition ask H.E Prime Minister of FDRE, Mr Hailemariam Desalegn to respond to my queries as to why Teddy is singled out and repeatedly denied a platform to do just his job.
