Dear sir, This is to bring to your kind notice in view of 7th Pay commission recommendations regarding Military Service Pay, the injustice done to JCOs and Other Ranks compared to Commissioned Officers and Nursing Officers. Sir, the MSP is introduced in 6th pay commission to compensate for the hardships faced by the Defence force personnel. But the harsships faced by ORs and JCOs are much more than a Commission officer in terms of messing, lodging and travelling. Then why they are paid lesser than the commissioned officers. The commissioned officers , for being in more responsible positions are already paid higher salaries and allowances. They are allowed to travel by air too. Its all fine. But why is there a big difference in an allowance which is exclusively given to compensate field area hardships. I and all my fellow men of the forces sincerely request you to look into the matter and provide justice to us. Thanking you sir Jaihind.
