Reverse Decision To Withdraw Troops From Afghanistan

Reverse Decision To Withdraw Troops From Afghanistan
The Issue
The decision to withdraw military personnel from Afghanistan needs to be reversed with immediate effect.
The Taliban have been emboldened by the lack of peace keeping troops & are gaining momentum as they continue to take control of provinces. It is only a matter of time before they take complete control of Afghanistan & begin to look to push outward.
A country under militant control has dire consequences for the Afghan people especially women & the younger generation that were given hope by the west that their future might be stable.
And what message does this current state of affairs send with regard to the 457 British service people & 2,312 US military personnel who lost their lives in the battle to bring peace to the country. Please do not look away from what is happening right now in Afghanistan & allow their deaths to have been for nothing.
Many NGO's have pulled out of Afghanistan but not all. Some are clinging on by their fingertips doing their best to give much needed service to the Afghan people, ordinary people like you & I.
I will mention former Royal Marine Sgt Pen Farthing who bravely fought the Taliban & lost two of his men. Now settled in Kabul with an established facility educating & assisting locals in the care of working animals. This NGO also vaccinates street animals for rabies thus reducing the likelihood of transmission to people.
We beg you to reconsider your decision. The government in Afghanistan is not strong enough to fight the Taliban alone.
