Tamworth has been too long awaiting the opening of a Primark store. The nearest is over nine miles away at The Fort which is not accessible by public transport. The others are not easily accessible, even with private transport, with them being in busy areas. Tamworth has seen the closing of many stores and the opening of many big names which are not affordable for many. If a store was to be opened within Ventura Park or Ankerside it would be easily accessible to the population of approximately 80,000 people living in Tamworth. We are a continually growing town and people are travelling to cities go and spend their money, which is then having a negative effect on our town.
