Octopus are intelligent, feeling beings.  Like all animals, and even cold blooded creatures.  These beings have a right to live - NOT just for our consumption.  The will to live is strong.  We continue to farm and slaughter animals and fish purely for monetary gain.  It has gone way further than slaughtering an animal/fish once in a while for a food, it’s a full blown industry that is destroying our planet.  These creatures deserve MORE from us.  They can’t fight for themselves, they are 100 % at our mercy.  If we don’t stand up to big corporations like this Neuva Pescanova, who want to start the first Octopus farm in the Canaries, these poor creatures will suffer immensely.  They want to kill then using cold water temperatures of - 3.  This is proven to be terribly cruel.  

There is only one reason they want to do this and that is MONEY and GREED.  Only we have the power to put a stop to this.  Only we have the power to save these poor creatures from a horrible, painful existence and unnecessary death.  EVERY creature on this planet has as much right to life as I do, or any other human being.  We have to start making changes, it’s not OK to do this for monetary gain.
