Initially seen as mere outlets for fun, these quickly became unhealthy crutches. Addictions took root and soon, some of my friends spiraled further into experimenting with harder drugs like Molly.

Underage drug and substance abuse is a pressing issue that impacts countless families and communities around the world. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, early drug use increases a person’s chances of more serious addiction later in life. It's crucial that society takes steeper measures to prevent young people from falling into these habits.
